Becoming a professional certified by PATH Intl. is

Becoming a professional certified by PATH Intl. is a rite of passage. Instructors applying for certification must complete a written exam and demonstrate both equestrian ability and the ability to teach a safe lesson in the chosen discipline for individuals with special needs. Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning Candidates must pass a written exam and the Practical Horsemanship Skills Test. Certification demonstrates a commitment to the highest level of professionalism in equine-assisted activities.

As a Premier Accredited Center by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Riding International, TROT proudly employs two professionally trained and certified Therapeutic Riding Instructors and one Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning. We are proud to be the only Premier Accredited Center by PATH in the Greater Tucson area.

But most of all, because of his docile temperament, gentle nature, honest sensibility and strong frame, he makes the PERFECT horse for TROT's adaptive and therapeutic programs!
